Mainboard and SME IPOs are shown in separate sections on this page because their subscription data coverage can differ. Mainboard IPOs are presented first, followed by BSE SME and NSE SME IPOs, making it easier to compare the relevant bidding figures.
What does a subscription multiple such as 10x mean?
A 10x subscription means the bids received are equal to 10 times the shares offered for that category or for the issue overall, depending on the figure shown. Subscription multiples measure demand and do not by themselves guarantee allotment or listing gains.
Does higher IPO subscription guarantee allotment?
No. A heavily subscribed IPO can make allotment harder because demand exceeds the shares available in a category. The final allotment depends on the applicable allocation rules and the registrar process.
Can IPO subscription figures change during bidding?
Yes. Subscription multiples can change throughout the IPO bidding period as new applications and bids are recorded. IPOGyani also provides individual IPO subscription pages with available day-wise subscription history.
